Arno Trinkl and Wolfgang Rauter of trastic make design panels from recycled plastic. This combines sustainability with design for interior and exterior use. Used plastic is converted into stylish and high-quality elements. The plastic is first collected, cleaned and sorted before being shredded into small particles. Under heat and pressure, the particles are then transformed into a unique panel material that can be used for sustainable and climate-friendly interior and exterior furnishings. For example, a table-top could consist of 8,000 yoghurt pots 3,000 PET bottles.
