Leitentech is a two-person team dedicated to solving the problem of vehicles rolling over on steep terrain. The product is a modular rollover warning system that can be retrofitted to the vehicles and which detects inclination and acceleration as well as the GPS position. The essential thing that such a system has to achieve is to calculate the tipping point exactly at every moment. The big challenge in doing so is that the centre of gravity of the vehicle can change dynamically depending on the load, attachments etc.

Future plans: Currently the business is developing into a technology company that is taking on unsolved engineering problems in agriculture. At the beginning the focus was on a rollover warning system for vehicles with an unchanging centre of gravity. Currently the team is working on a new method for dynamic centre-of-gravity detection in agricultural vehicles.
